Além da maternidade
Fotografo a Carol desde quando seu pequeno Noah, de 4 anos, estava dentro da barriga. Mas antes de ser mãe, Carol é uma mulher linda, cheia de sonhos, com suas batalhas diárias, mas que não perde a garra e fé na vida. Busco olhar além da mãe, mas este título não pode ser um rótulo. Maternar, é só uma das coisas extraordinárias que mulheres comuns, como eu, você e Carol, exercem no dia a dia. E por isso, em minhas sessões, faço questão de sempre tentar fazer fotos da mulher sozinha, sem sua cria.
No final do nosso tempo juntas, peguei a Carol em um canto e deixei ela simplesmente SER. No balanço da vida, brisa no rosto, livre, leve e solta! E que alegria a minha em ver que ela se soltou, verdadeiramente, sentiu, e isso reflete diretamente no resultado das fotos, que vocês podem conferir na galeria abaixo!

I’ve been photographing Carol since her little Noah, now 4 years old, was still in her belly. But before becoming a mother, Carol is a beautiful woman, full of dreams, with her daily battles, but she never loses her strength and faith in life. I strive to see beyond the role of mother, but this title shouldn’t be a label. Motherhood is just one of the extraordinary things that ordinary women like me, you, and Carol do every day. That’s why, in my sessions, I always make a point to capture photos of the woman alone, without her child.
At the end of our time together, I took Carol aside and just let her BE. In the balance of life, with the breeze on her face, free, light, and at ease! And what a joy it was for me to see her truly relax, to feel, and that directly reflects in the photos, which you can check out in the gallery below!
